[Video] Scheme: "La Clika"

After weeks of hyping it up, Scheme's video for "La Clika" has finally dropped, and it was definitely worth the wait. The bilingual song, produced by Serious, is Scheme's first Spanish and English language song. Backed by a considerable amount of homies (the titular "clika" or clique), Scheme puts on for both Chicago and his Mexican heritage.

You can read the press release and watch the video below.

Scheme and Beast Factory Films present the official video for La Clika. This is Scheme's first official release in Spanish and English; as he proceeds to bridge the gap between both cultures that raised him.

The video for La Clika showcases Scheme with the support of his city of Chicago, as well as glimpses of the Mexican culture he is proud and honored to represent. La Clika is a movement; it doesn't matter where you are, or where you are from. Rep that.

[Video] Joey Purp: “I Don’t Care”

I met Joey this year at SXSW down in Austin, TX. Joey's personal style is definitely something that stands out at a quick glance. Ever since then, I’ve been keeping up with any new music he puts out. He’s been putting in work as one of the SaveMoney members who continuously drops good music. Joey links with Thelonious Martin on this track and bring us a short, but sweet video which has us anticipating new work. Check out the video below and stay tuned for more on Joey Purp with us.

[Video] Phil Ade: “Nas Told Me”

It’s obvious Phil Ade is good at what he does. The Maryland native dropped a video yesterday from his upcoming mixtape R.O.S.E., to be available sometime next month. The song is dope, as Phil spits pure lyricism and the video is equally as good. Hit the jump to check out the Sunny Norway produced track.

[Video] Action Bronson: "Strictly 4 My Jeeps"

Videographers of the internet: The game's over. Action Bronson's video for "Strictly 4 My Jeeps" (directed by Jason Goldwatch) will go down in history as the greatest music video ever created. It features everything you need in a modern-day music video: half-naked girls, money, a RiFF RAFF cameo, basketball, juking, pitbulls, big cars, steak, and a personalized cake. Seriously, the bar for music video quality has been raised to an unattainable high.

"Strictly 4 My Jeeps" is part of the Action Bronson/Harry Fraud collaboration, Saab Stories, which should be coming out in early June. Check the video below, but be warned: you won't look at music videos the same ever again.

[Video] Taylor Bennett: "Speed Racer"

Not one to let big brother Chance the Rapper get all the shine, Taylor Bennett came out the gate ready to show the world what he's about. A few months after he dropped "God's Children," Taylor's back at it with a video for his latest, "Speed Racer." Directed by TheloVism and produced by Sami Adbullahi, the video starts with Taylor rapping in super speed, fitting in with the song's title. The tempo normalizes, but the young MC still drops bars at a high clip. Expect more from Taylor Bennett, especially with The Taylor Bennett Show set to drop later this year.

You can watch the video below; you can also download the song here.

[Video] Talib Kweli X Chance the Rapper X Cory Mo Freestyle

Recently, Chicago superhero Chance the Rapper appeared on Showoff Radio with Statik Selektah to show off some freestyle skills. With him were Cory Mo and hip hop legend Talib Kweli. Each rapper cyphered over the "1 Track" beat by ASAP Rocky. Talib had the longest verse, but Chance definitely showed some good chops, too. Check out the video below.

[Video] Rockie Fresh: "Life Long" (feat. Rick Ross and Nipsey Hussle)

The video for Rockie Fresh's latest single, "Life Long," is finally out. Featuring Maybach Music master Rick Ross and MMG associate Nipsey Hussle, the song is about their individual aspirations to living their lives. It's been a big year for Rockie since Electric Highway dropped in January, with his latest mixtape, The Birthday Tape, dropping a few weeks ago. It's good to see a local artist come up and reach for the stars. Here's hoping the rest of 2013 treats Rockie well.
