[Closed Sessions] "Heads of The Heads" Feat. GLC & Freddie Gibbs

[Video] Aleon Craft: "Look Twice" (prod. SMKA)

Mothership Decatur

Atlanta/Outerspace native Aleon Craft presents us with the first video off of Mothership Decatur, set to drop this April. The video accompanies the first and only leak off of the album, and while it is quite short it gets me excited for the Southern MC's newest project. Aleon Craft was once a part of Da Backwudz but the group broke apart after releasing only one album. Now he is blessing our ears with music that sounds other-worldly. Keep an eye out for Mothership Decatur and check out the video after the jump.

Yelawolf's First Words For Chicago

Yelawolf

Any RH fans will see that we didn't update the site too much over the weekend.  Well, there's been good reason between Closed Sessions with Ninjasonik and Freddie Gibbs, backstage pitchfork action with Raekwon, and our Yelawolf show, we were pretty tied up.  Here's a small teaser of what's to come, as Yelawolf gives me his first words after touching down in the Windy City for his first show in Chicago.  Check it out below and look for much more to come on RubyHornet.

Japanese Voyeurs: "That Love Sound" Video

Japanese voyeurs

It's just that love sound... This is pretty much the same message as "Bump And Grind" (there ain't nothing wrong), just a little creepier, and not as convincing.  The Japanese Voyeurs may seem more at home in the early 90's, as their grunge-filled sound and style make this video look a little like b-footage from a SoundGarden shoot.  Either way, the single will be released on February 8th, and the Londoners will also kick off a UK headlining tour.  See the video below.

GLC: "Let The Pimpin' Commence" Video

GLC

Check out the new video from GLC. This dude has made like 8 videos in the last 2 weeks.  I swear to g-d every time I talk to him on the phone he says the phrase, 'I'm about to go shoot this new video for _____."  Gotta respect a man on his job, or fittingly, a pimp on his game.  Let the Pimpin' Commence below.

Nefew: "What U Talk About" Video

Nefew

"I don't care about the money, I seek emcees."

I have a soft spot for those "bring it back to the essence" type of songs, and Swiss-American act, Nefew brings forth such a vibe on their re-released "What U Talk About".  After handling things in Europre, the duo is setting their sites on the U.S., and this is a solid introduction.  Check out the video below.

Mos Def Finally Delivers Video We All Hoped For In "History"

Mos Def Talib Kweli

"Ten years ago we made history so they're missing us."

Mos Def took a more minimal approach with videos from his '09 opus, Ecstatic.  With much of what Mos Def does, fans take what he gives as he gives it under a 'don't question a genius' type of thing while muttering complaints under their respective breathes... Anyway, do away with all that and fix your eyes on "History" the new video from Mos, which features Talib Kweli.  The Ecstatic was my top album of the year and now we finally have a video to match.  Check it out after the jump... 6th Sense twittered earlier that watching this video was like watching history... Couldn't agree more.

Rob Swift: ""Rabia- 2nd Movement" Video

Rob Swift

Motherf**king Rob Swift... That's a bad, bad man right there.  Rob sent over his new vide for "Rabia- 2nd Movement" from his forthcoming solo album, The Architect (2/23/10).   The video was filmed at Fat Beats and The Scratch Academy, and directed by Rodolfo Duran. Interestingly enough, the video is Rob's first and Rodolfo is also an old friend of Rob's... It is still kinda weird to see Rob cutting it up with Serato records, lol... See it below.
