The great thing about music is that, despite a song being released, it will constantly evolve and grow beyond its original form. Sometimes, that leads to Kidz Bop versions or YouTube acoustic guitar covers; other times, it can become something just as great as the original form itself.
It’s been less than two weeks, but we (and seemingly everybody else) are still bumping Chance the Rapper’s Acid Rap. Mike Jaxx of Tha Hydrox, known for his production on ShowYouSuck’s “Rest in Pizza” albums (as well as his latest drop with Grade Aplus, “’93,” under their collaborative name, #100Trill) just released his remix of Chance the Rapper’s crowd-favorite, “Juice.” Simply titled “Juice (gHETTO aCID Trip Remix,” Jaxx takes the AllDayRecess-produced song and mixes it into a booty-bumping party song.
