Cults continue the 60’s revival leading towards the release of their self-titled debut on June 6th. The duo, who I recently saw live with a full band, carry a nonchalance in their music and aesthetics. That’s not to say they’re not working hard, they just make it look easy. That’s the tone on “Abducted”, a somewhat darker, yet beach ready jam featuring resignation by both parties to have their hearts stolen, then broken. The band debuted the track via stream on NPR and will also release it as a limited 7 inch on Record Store Day.
