Last week we heard a song from Das Racist, “Fashion Party” featuring Chairlift, and now a second song from Das Racist’s upcoming project Sit Down, Man. I had no idea the mixtape was coming out so soon, tomorrow soon that is, has come out. This time they enlist another odd and random choice in piano-man Vijay Iyer. Once again, like Chairlift, the combination works. Das Racist seems like they can collab with anyone and are taking the mixing of genres to the furthest and widest it can go. And it is paying off. No one else has been daring enough to take the risks of collaborating with people from all parts of the music world.
