Toronto’s DJ M-Rock brings us a comprehensive and compelling collection of Kanye West in this new mixtape, cleverly titled The Best of Kanye West. In true Kanye fashion, M-Rock approached the tape with meticulous detail as well as high expectations. The mixtape took him 3 weeks and somewhere between 100-200 hours, as he selected which songs to include from West’s extensive catalog, as well as juggles, scratches, mixes and other DJ displays. As far as his hopes from the mix, a very modest, “I’d like people to rate this among the best tapes ever, but you guys be the judge, diss it, love it, hate it, whatever…”
The mixtape includes nearly 70 songs, from all of Kanye’s solo work, as well as his collaborations and production features.
