One of my favorite music discoveries of 2010 is Eliza Doolittle. Her EP showed up randomly last summer, and I’ve been listening to it since. And I’ve made no secret how catchy her upbeat tunes really are, and the fun presented in her music videos. We had the chance to meet Eliza Doolittle during our trip to Austin for SXSW, and it was definitely one of my favorite parts of our trip. We have an interview coming soon, but before that, we have word that Eliza really really wants to work with fellow 2010 upstarts, Odd Future.
The singer told the BBC that she, “would die for that, that would be amazing.” She also said that the crew reminds her of Eminem, and while she really wants to work with them, she realizes it may be tough. “I don’t know if it would ever happen. Two very different worlds colliding. I love it when that happens.”
