Emilio Rojas

“I got a lot on my mind, just give me some of that amazing grace.”

Someone pissed off Emilio Rojas something really fierce.  Equipped with a chip on his shoulder and a ton of talent, Emilio has been unleashing some of his best material to date and today we have another gem in the form of “The Letter” featuring Tennille.  The song is as personal as the cover art suggests with Emilio asking many questions, most of them unanswerable. He cleverly and intelligently points out the hypocrisies of organized religion and the contradictions of God’s representation.  He also communicates feelings of frustration and at times desperation that are all too common, and I have seen myself go through a lot recently as well.  Emilio’s chorus, repeatedly asking where God is and promising a change is something that could have come right from my own inner thoughts.  Except Emilio makes it sound a lot better.

Watch for his new EP. It is going to be a problem. Download the track below.
