Eminem’s new album, Recovery, drops on June 22nd. On Saturday he premiered the video for “Not Afraid”. I don’t blog on Shabbos, so we bring it to you now live and direct. The video is very well-done and does what any good video does, makes the song better than it is. That’s no diss to Em’s new track, how could you hate a song in which he apologizes for that weird accent? Eminem’s opus about beating drug addiction is sincere and honest, but those two realms are also nothing new to one of music’s most personal authors.
