Esso is just thinking out loud. This is the 6th edition of his “Thinking Out Loud” joints, which started around the time of his first mixtape in 2006. Here Esso gives us a snapshot of his mind over Kanye West’s “Devil In A New Dress” instrumental. A theme throughout the song is how far Esso has come since that first “Thinking Out Loud”.
