This isn’t the latest s**t, but it is something that is dope and a must watch for every DJ, DJ hopeful etc. More and more I realize how lucky I am to have started DJing before the invention of Serato as well as the explosion of online and digital music. Having to track down and dig for every record produces a certain relationship with the music that can’t be fostered digitally. It’s also a lot different blending without the visuals provided by Serato, or any of the push-button techniques. Anyway, “DJ Intervention” follows DJ Rich Kid who DJs only with his iPod and gets gigs because his dad is loaded. His girlfriend stages an intervention to get him off the whack sauce with help from DJ Arabian Prince, DJ Rhettmatic and others. See it below.
