So, you may remember back in March we posted this quick video of GLC and Freddie Gibbs at our Closed Sessions in Texas. We’ve been hard at work getting everything in line to release the full album/documentary that will feature the full story of everything that went down, as well as 11 new songs all created over 4 marathon days of recording. The songs feature cross country collaborations with artists such as The Kid Daytona, Fashawn, DJ Babu and Rakaa of Dilated Peoples, CurT@!n$, Buff1, Emilio Rojas, 6th Sense, Rhymefest, and yes, the very first session of GLC and Freddie Gibbs. We were kind of holding onto things, but over the weekend GLC hit CMJ and performed “Heads of The Heads” the Closed Sessions joint he made in Texas with Freddie Gibbs. As you listen to the video you’ll hear Gibbs’ intro “Closed Sessions Austin, everything’s bigger in Texas”. This is great song, and I can’t wait to actually share the real crisp and clean version. No leaks! Watch the video below.
