Happiness Has imposters is a theme centered on the idea that not everything in life that provides some form of gratification or satisfaction can give you true fulfillment. The belief that accomplishments, monetary gains or materials make one’s life fulfilling is false in many instances. We even use colloquialisms or phrases that express this sentiment, for example “Money can’t buy you love/happiness”. so this work speaks to misconception that filling the void in life with anything that makes life easier or gives you elation or empowerment equals happiness, because that’s not always the case. This is what is meant by the label ‘imposters’.
