House Shoes’ debut album, Let It Go, will be released next Tuesday (June 19th). The album’s title has many meanings for House Shoes, one of them being the amount of labor that House Shoes goes through to create a record up to his standards and then actually release it to the world. The songs are so personal for House Shoes, that he’s kept a lot of them close to the vest, almost to the point of holding himself back. The LP represent House Shoes letting the music out, and seeing where it goes. Today we have one last leak before the LP’s release as House Shoes grabs Detroit veterans Quelle Chris and Guilty Simpson for “Nails”, a dirty and funky joint filled with organs and gritty bars from Chris and Guilty.
