Back in 2003 we saw the first collaboration of Leica and Paris based luxury brand Hermès when they dropped the Leica MP Hermès edition. Next month brings the second collaboration of these two power houses when the Leica M7 Hermès Edition hit stores in a very limited way. The classic 35mm rangefinder comes in silver chrome with a choice of two striking calfskin leather finishes in orange and étoupe supplied by Hermès. Just 100 of each color will be made available, and each individual camera will have a special sequential serial number between 001/200 and 200/200. This special edition M7 will run you £8,550 or $14,391.52…DAMN. But if you know either of these brands, that number is about right. Check out pics of the orange calfskin color.
