“Bulls-eye with a thin dart.”
Mathien and Sulaiman are the Local Nobodies, and they released one of my favorite “under the radar” releases of last year in their self-titled debut. Sulaiman relocated to L.A. over the summer, and it put a little damper on their recording schedule. However, during a trip back to Chicago over Halloween, Suli linked back up with Mathien for this new record, “Runaway”. Suli describes this song as “speaking on the complexities of cuffing and non-cuffing ala Local Nobodies style.”
