Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor 2 (part I) is shaping up to be one hell of an album. Lupe’s been on somewhat of a redemption tour lately leading up to its September release, and I think he has many of the people that doubted him after L.A.S.E.R.S, back in his corner. He is also more steadfast than ever in expressing his beliefs. The first two releases from the project, “Around My Way” and “Bad Bitch” were both tongue-in-cheek statements on American culture, and he has been straight-forward in several interviews. Whereas, the first two singles focused primarily on social issues, Lupe said on Twitter that the new single will address religion. He warned, “Warning: if you are easily offended or religiously sensitive DO NOT listen to “Lamborghini Angels”. Contains very disturbing content.”
Lupe also said that the single will drop August 14th, and released the artwork seen above.
