“Who took our love and hiphop…. and turned it into love and hiphop Atlanta?”

It is saddening and gut-wrenching to wake up every morning and hear about the latest intense acts of violence in Chicago. Malcolm London –in this particular situation–felt the urge to address the onslaughts throughout the city and Hip Hop’s role in it, and he decided to do it through poetry. London makes a valid criticism of the music many of us play on a daily basis and the industry that supports it, while mourning for all the lives lost these past few years.
