Max Schaaf is well known as a leader in the Bay-Area bike scene. He began his career as a skate-rat, but eventually moved into the building and designing of motorcycles, drawing inspiration from “the outlaw bikes of the 1960s”. Working his way though the bike show circuit, he has built his career from scratch and he knows his style. Now he has transplanted that knowledge of design to a limited edition capsule collection with Vans. The two teamed up for 2 models, an Era and a Sk8 Mid. Both feature treated canvas and the Sk8 mid meshes it with black suede as well. Coming in a dark tonal colorways, the shoes pop with the accents of red on the tongue.
