Last week I received Classic, the new album from M.E.D. that will be released November 1st via Stones Throw. It’s West Coast indie lo-fi at it’s best. Madlib handles production for 10 of the LP’s 14 tracks, leaving a few for Karriem Riggins, Oh No, Georgia Anne Muldrow, and The Alchemist. Other guests include Talib Kweli (“Classic), Planet Asia & Kurupt (“Roll Out”), and Aloe Blacc (“Where I’m From)”. Check out the album’s first single, “Outta Control”, which features MellowHype/Odd Future member, Hodgy Beats.
