I’ve been wondering when Alexander Spit was going to drop some new ish ever since I heard his neighborhood anthem “Real RSWD” featuring CBG. That was all the way back in June and finally today he hit us with a new tape. These Long Strange Nights was recorded and nearly produced 100% by himself in his bedroom. However the quality of the work doesn’t betray this fact. Not only does each track have individual artwork (that’s steez right there), but the sound is cohesive and the jams are in full effect. The Los Angeles, California resident doesn’t remind me of any other West Coast artist yet, carving out his own lane of trippy and hazy party jams.
