It’s safe to say that Kendrick Lamar emphatically burst on the scene in late 2010 picking up critical acclaim for his (O)verly (D)edicated Mixtape, as well as a major co-sign from Dr. Dre. Whether Kendrick will occupy the “unknown to it rapper” spot previously held by artists like Drake, and J. Cole, who benefited from cosigns from Wayne and Jay-Z respectively, remains to be seen. We do know that Kendrick has shade-worthy future, and we expect him to also grace XXL’s cover next month..
