Depeche Moe is presented by the good folks at Potholes In My Blog and The Brain Trust, that partners the lyrical prowess of Life After God, with the ever so changing influences for, and modes of production, beatsmiths’ Rain and Headnodic created for this project. Boston is the common ground for these musicians, as Moe was named Best Rapper in Boston by Urb.com, this crew resonates within the Commonwealth of Mass, and will be repping it with more projects on deck for 2011.  Do not mistake this project for your toss around Mash-Up album, that your friends little brother told you about. Taking certain samples from classic Depeche Mode tracks, Rain & Headnodic create a vibe appropriate for the music snob crate digger, and the opened minded Depeche Mode fan thirsty for a new take on the sound they will always love. If you have not heard the original project, you can stream it above, and if you want to hear a new innovative take of the classic 95′ boom bap craft, Listen! Going to be hearing more from this crew, so stay tuned for more drops. Hit the jump for the tracklist + download.
