Date-rape detection has been made easy thanks to UK-based cosmetics company 2LoveMyLips. The company has released 5 new shades of lipgloss that detect GHB and Ketamine. When a drop of the date-rape drug turns the gloss blue then you know you’ve been drugged. Tracy Whittaker the managing director of the company claims to be launching the product in the U.S. and Australia soon. The burning question, however is does it actually work? So far the only stats given with regards to that question are that “the Roofie Foundation, a UK agency set up to help victims of drug rape received 1,200 calls to their helpline in the last two years.” Ladies, beware of what you drink and from whom. It’s always better to buy your own when you’re at the nightclub. Just some good advice, if you ask me.
