Using soulful and thick production from producer Dee Lilly as his couch, Chicago’s Murph Watkins lets off some steam in this new joint “You Want It Your Way”. Amongst Watkins’ frustrations are Chicago’s increasing crime rate, not yet reaching the goals that keep him up at night, and the overall wickedness of the world. This song is very dope, and reminds me why I thought of Murph as a really promising emcee when I heard his music towards the end of 2011. This is going on Dee Lilly’s forthcoming beat tape, Obey.
