Seinfeld

Making a long story short, out in Texas we were working all the time.  I don’t know if it was the air up there, being in a mansion, all the “refreshments” or maybe just what we were doing, but I was able to function really well off of little to no sleep each day.  I took my sleeping habits with me back to Chicago this week and have been staying up working on stuff pretty late each night then getting up early and going to RH.  Last night I got home, ordered a pizza and watched a little college basketball, planning to finish Rhymefest’s mixtape and go out.  The combination of the couch, the pizza, and a little relaxation led to a crash and I fell in and out of sleep while watching TV.  I caught the last bits of “30 Rock” and then saw that “The Marriage Ref” was up next.  Since I first heard about this show I have been dissing it, like how could Jerry Seinfeld go from “Seinfeld” to “The Marriage Ref”?  Larry David went from “Seinfeld” to “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, which is really like “Seinfeld” without Jerry, and everyone can agree is an amazing show.  But “The Marriage Ref”? For real?  Well, I’ve been hearing some good reviews, and decided to check it out…

This show is awesome!  It has real couples arguing about some of the dumbest s**t, while Jerry Seinfeld and other comedians take sides and make fun of them for an hour.  Last night there was a couple fighting because the guy keeps a motorcylce in the living room and is obsessed with Mariah Carey.  Another guy loved his dog more than his wife, and his dog actually hated his wife and would go ape s**t every time they were together.  Lastly, (but really first in the show) there was Krispy Tracks, a 36 1/2 (you gotta be particular when talking about Kripsy’s age) year old business man with dreams of being a rap superstar.  His wife felt embarrassed by all this and wanted Krispy to give up the mic for good.

The judges decided to let Krispy keep his Hip Hop dreams, as he really wasn’t hurting anybody… I mean, let Krispy get some shine.  You can check out the episode I’m talking about here, and see Krispy do his thing below.
