One of my favorite producer/rappers is Oddisee, a D.C. native that has crafted gems for some of Hip Hop’s most notable independent artists, as well as himself. I loved his crew effort Diamond District, and adding recently to my collection is his most recent release Odd Seasons, which was released on 5/17. Today Oddisee has provided a free download of “You Don’t Close Your Eyes”, a record that tells the story of a good relationship gone bad, as parking lots change from places of getting it on to the spot for long conversations about problems and solutions.
