After a year of struggle with Atlantic, Lupe has won his side of the battle and the album Lasers will apparently be released March 8, 2010 along with the 1st single being released October 26th. Atlantic had this to say about the release.

I wonder what Atlantic saw as the final straw, that finally made them get their ish straight, too make this happen? Was it the fact he’s been nominated for 8 Grammy’s: owns one, both albums released have been number one on the U.S. Rap charts, has the most dedicated fan base in Hip-hop, and oh yeah, Lupe is the most lyrical and “likeable” MC we’ve heard in a while.
