Many know Panda Bear (Noah Lennox) from his work with Animal Collective. While Animal Collective is on a recording break, Lennox will release his fourth Panda Bear LP on April 12th. The album is entitled Tomboy, and features a collection of previously released singles, as well as new and never before heard material. It will hit stores via Lennox’s own Paw Tracks record label. “Last Night At The Jetty” is the latest single off the LP, and also comes with the announcement of the full tracklist, as well as cover art. Lennox has been leading the way in the 2000’s resurgence of psychedelic and experimental music both as part of Animal Collective and through his solo work. This new album sees Lennox revert away from the heavy samples that were present in his last Panda Bear release, Person Pitch, released in 2007.
