Imagine being able to travel into space; now imagine being able to photograph the Earth while you’re orbiting the planet you call home. I don’t know about you, but that’s something that would be pretty awesome to experience. This is exactly what the astronauts aboard the International Space Station “The Cupola module” do. The Cupola name means” dome” in Italian, and because of its dome appearance, the astronauts are able to capture incredible photos of Earth. Judging by the 31-inch windows, it’s easy to see why a large number of photos of earth are taken aboard the Cupola. Enjoy the photos below and check out PetaPixel for more.
