Being at the beach and catching waves is just the typical day at the office for photographer Lucia Griggi. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day, let alone make a living from it, but that’s what Lucia does, because she has worked to become a well-respected professional surf photographer. She has become the go-to photographer for the industry and has traveled to all of the surfer hot spots, capturing the best surfers in the world. It’s hard to believe that “the first time she got on a surfboard was at the age of 21 in the icy waters of the British Isles.” Life is not a beach all the time, and what she does is very hard as she has to deal with dangerous waves and even sharks just to get one shot. Being a surf photographer must be one hell of career, and Lucia has great skill in capturing awesome shots in the water.
