The first word that always comes to mind with Sin City is “style.” The latest red band trailer from last weekend’s San Diego Comic Con for the upcoming Sin City sequel, A Dame to Kill For, is full of nothing but style. What the latest three minute trailer lacks in clear exposition, it makes up for in the CG-assisted neo-noir/graphic novel look fans have come to expect from the Sin City brand. Also very apparent is co-director Robert Rodriguez’ penchant for creating prolific B-movie shots. Despite the budget, the CGI, and the very talented cast of actors, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For gives off a huge B-movie vibe, which is not a bad thing by any means.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will be in theaters on August 22nd.
