As the summer continues to march on, it’s hard not to love Chicago. But with hordes flocking to the beach and other sites, sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. Original Fake Side Teeth Jacket
You’re probably wondering why I’m starting off Local Threads with a jacket. It’s Chicago, it’s hot, but this jacket is hotter. Japan’s Original Fake creates high quality products and this is no exception. With an attention to the small things, the brand has created something special here. The zipper bears the distinct teeth graphic, contrasting with the bright red nylon. Running vertically down the side is a mesh section that also features the signature repeating tooth design. This is the perfect jacket for a summer shower, the mesh will keep you cool while you stay dry. This is available through RSVP Gallery now.
Heist and Co cites Hugh Hefner as one of their inspirations. Their newest tee bears his mark without a doubt, but also artists like KAWS and his brand Original Fake, combining cartoonish graphics with real photography. Heist and Co was just recently picked up by Jugrnaut, so head on over to grab this tee, which also comes in black, red, and gray.
Leaders 1354 just received a shipment of some of the nicest blazers I’ve seen in a while. The vintage model features a shell toe and zipper for easy access. Constructed from suede, the Nike swoosh is absent from the side as on a normal blazer. Pictured below is a gray model, which isn’t available, but if you like the blue or green, make sure to hurry over to the shop. FACT: These are a ‘Quickstrike’ release, a top-tier Nike drop that means they are very limited and most likely extremely dope.
Another very limited release from Nike, this one comes from their skateboarding division. Eric Koston is a legend in the skate game, Kobe is Kobe, so it was a natural collaboration for the two. This Koston model features an embossed white suede swoosh complimented by the Lakers’ purple and yellow. These are available at Uprise Skate Shop. Fact: These are also a ‘Quickstrike’ release.
Sir & Madame Revisable Leather Bracelets
To finish off this edition of Local Threads we have Sir & Madame’s clean stylings as an accessory. The bracelets are made from leather with one finished side and one rough side.
