It was a star-studded celebration of Naledge’s upcoming solo jaunt, The Chicago Picasso. The “not-a-mixtape” project was mixed by RH’s DJ RTC and hosted by fellow Chicagoan Timbuck2 and Cleveland’s Mick Boogie, making it a four person Midwest affair. We celebrated May 20th at The Legroom in no sneakers style. Izzo and RTC were on the 1’s and 2’s playing an assortment of Hip Hop as well as choice cuts from the LP dropping on June 30th via Duck Down Records. Chuck English, Mic Terror, Chip Tha Ripper, and many more from Chicago’s scene were in the building, along with Bun B.
