Dimes and Dozens (RubyHornet x dubFrequency) turned 5 on Saturday at Lava Lounge. The night included a bill featuring sets by Matt.Boy.White, and DJ RTC as well as performances by Chip Tha Ripper and He Say She Say. The crowd got more than they bargained for when Rhymefest showed up to perform a trio of joints, as well as speak on Derrion Albert. He called out famous Chicago rappers for staying silent on the issue before spitting his own verse from David Banner’s “Something Is Wrong”. The Cool Kids were also at Lava Lounge and handed RTC their new joint, “Bundle Up”, which was debuted for those in attendance. The extras capped off when Million $ Mano did his own DJ set following a dope performance from He Say She Say. Definitely one for the books and you can see the pics captured by Virgil Solis. Hit the jump.
