The buzz all last week centered on the first Chicago appearance of Canadian trio, Keys N’ Krates. The URB Next 100 band made up of JR Flo on the turntables, Matisse on the keys, and Tone on the drums, set Lumen off during their performance a week ago. Their set never paused or slowed and included a big band uptempo mix of “Dirt Off Your Shoulder”, a more soulful “Ms. Fat Booty”, and a rendition of “One In A Million” that also included hints of “A Millie”. The pics are below for you to see what the party was like, video coming soon with give you total experience. The next RubyHornet party is on Saturday with dubFrequency when Amanda Diva, Vyle, Vic Lloyd, and RTC will perform at the third installment of Dimes and Dozens at Lava Lounge.
