May 3rd I had the privilege to preview the new game,The Darkness II over at the SA Studios Global HQ. There were game stations lined against the walls where you could play the game accompanied with free alcohol, drinks, and food. Now, although, I did not play The Darkness, seeing this sequel was still very enticing. I appreciate intense graphics and have a thing for morbid storylines, call it the escapist in me you could say. The game is extremely violent, and the interactive experience with the “Demon Arms” showcases that to the fullest. I watched a curated demo where they used the term graphic noir. That really is the perfect way to describe the style of this game. For all you gamers out there you can expect this release on October 4, 2011! Go check it out!
