Sorry for the late start today, I somehow ended up at the Attic with The Gza last night at 4AM followed by a smashed Buddha Supreme at Clarke’s, but, it is what it is…I was also unaware that there is a new comic book store in Hyde Park. First Aid Comics, located in on 53rd St. went to Hip Hop superhero El Che for their commercial, you can check that out below…Also, I talked to Fest about an hour ago where he was station in front of City Hall fighting for a new Wal-Mart to be opened on 83rd St. The Wal-Mart will bring jobs, as well as help to provide the community with proper groceries. “It’s a food dessert,” he told me. “You got most people here doing their grocery shopping at the gas station.” The Wal-Mart plans are stalling because the alderman of the proposed Wal-Mart home is aganist the chain because not all the people employed to build the new addition to the chain will be union members, thus halting the whole project. Fest and others gathered to push things forward. I’ll have more on this from the man himself later.
