Eminem has been considered one of Hip Hop’s best lyricists since he released “Any Man” via an old Rawkus Records Soundbombing compilation. One with a little less exposure, but arguably up there as well is Royce Da 5’9″. The two went from close collaborators, to former friends, and are now back to working together. The Hip Hop world can rejoice, as the duo are releasing an EP on June 14th. In some circles it will surely rival Watch The Throne in anticipation and significance. This should have come out 10 years ago, but Royce and Eminem are still in top shape, and if “Fast Lane” is any indication, this is going to be quite the project.
