Here we have a new record from Chicago’s Seven1 and NYC-based producer, Sid V. The two setup shop at SoundScape earlier this summer and worked on several records. “By Myself” is the second release from those sessions, and sees Seven1 take on the perspective of his fans and friends, reading letters that address his past, his entrance to the Chicago scene, as well as his controversial statement song, “Death of Drillin'”. It’s a soulful conceptual record that sets the table well for his forthcoming release, The Atonement. Check it out below.
