Skyzoo continues the promo leading up to his new project, The Great Debater, which drops 6/7 via 9th Wonder and Jamla Records. “Written In The Drums” is produced by Swiff D and focuses on a running theme that Skyzoo’s music carries multiple messages that can’t be gotten on the first listen. It’s all in the drums, as Skyzoo says on the song. It’s also a theme he spoke about when I interviewed him shortly before the release of his debut LP, The Salvation.
