D&G knocks out the competition (corny!) with their new ad campaign shot by Steven Klein for the Fall/Winter 2009/2010 season. The Brooklyn, New York location, Gleason’s Gym, sets the mood for this sultry campaign that got its inspiration from the movie “Rocco e i suoi fratelli” (Rocco and His Brothers). The 1960 film, set in Milan, tells the provocative story of a prostitute who takes two brothers’ hearts, one of them being a boxer. Get it, girl!
Fun Fact: Gleason’s Gym was once the ring for legendary heavy-hitters Mike Tyson and Mohammad Ali.
