Peter Rosenberg, Cipha Sounds and Kaye Fox welcomed Super Producer Solar to their Hot 97 early morning radio show to talk about the recent health problems of Guru. Guru has been in the hospital since February, and last week rumors swirled about the reason for his illness, and some believed that Guru passed away. Guru is alive, and according to Solar (Guru’s musical partner and “best friend”) Guru is recovering now from cardiac arrest. Solar would not share further details with the crew, who also asked Solar to speak on his relationship with the former Gangstarr frontman. Solar has come under fire many times in the last week, as a shady kind of character who has blocked out Guru’s family, and is pulling strings so to speak.
