Release your inner-child with Stella McCartney’s new ad campaign for Autumn/Winter ’09-’10. McCartney has been known to be very pro-animal rights with her use of animal-friendly materials, so her ads capture the innocence of children and youth as well as animals, by using Disney’s Bambi cartoons in the shoot. Shot by Ryan McGinley, the photo shoot took place in the woods of Worcherstershire to give a realistic scene mixed with the illustrated images. McCartney quoted to Women’s Wear Daily “I’m a huge Bambi fan, and the film reminds me of my mum…And we wanted to have some fun. The clothes in the campaign are looking quite fierce, and we wanted to contrast them with the innocence of Bambi.” Look for the ads hitting newsstands soon!
