I’ve been a fan of Swollen Members for a minute. The group has a new album on the way following their 2006 LP. This one comes in the midst of personal issues as described below. The LP is called Armed to The Teeth, and features the track “Kyla”, which Swollen Members are giving away for free (find it after the jump). The song is named after the violinist who appears on the track. Swollen Members are currently on tour, and the new LP drops on the October 27th.

Swollen Members may have enjoyed a successful career as one of the premier groups in underground hip-hop, but when it came time to record their sixth studio album, they were forced to confront the skeletons that had been hiding in their closet.
