For the eighth Fun Fun Fun Fest, the organizers of the Austin, TX festival have put together an eclectic mix of bands, rappers, singers, and even comedians for revelers to enjoy. Mix in a handful of extreme sports athletes and an amazing lineup of local food vendors, and Fun Fun Fun Fest is unlike any festival you've been to. [Mixtape] Fun Fun Fun Fest Artist Mixtape
The 8th annual Fun Fun Fun Fest, is right around the corner and in celebration of the latest installment of the festival series, organizers put together a curated mixtape of artists on the lineup. Included on the release are FFF performers Cut Copy, Jenny Slate, Mobile Disco, Descendents, Del The Funky Homosapien and more. To put the tape together, each artist was asked to choose their favorite road trip song, culminating in the perfect thing to listen to on that long road to Austin, where music, comedy and food abound. Cut Copy Announce Single, Album, World Tour
Australian electronic trio, Cut Copy, have been busy the past two days. After announcing details of their upcoming album, Free Your Mind for which they dropped a new single of the same name, the group also released information about their upcoming world tour, beginning on October 30 with a date in Salt Lake City and wrapping things up December 13 in Copenhagen, Sweden. The album, mixed by Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, MGMT, the Flaming Lips) was described by "The concept of freedom is one that's universally positive and timeless, and whatever each person's version of that freedom is, it's a good thing to be reminding people or even just ourselves to be 'free,'" leading man Dan Whitford said.
