Kate Upton might become a part of the Entourage

Model/actress bomshell Kate Upton has built a name for herself since her modeling debut a few years ago. Her acting career, however, has been mostly quiet with minimal roles in 2011's Tower Heist and last year's adaptation of The Three Stooges. While she has a role in Nick Cassavetes' (The Notebook) 2014 film, The Other Woman, her biggest role might be coming alongside alongside Jeremy Piven and the guys.

Entourage creator/director/writer Doug Ellin wants Upton to play the lead female role in the big-screen adaptation of the popular HBO series. Negotiations have reportedly begun, but no formal offers have been made just yet. It's unclear what type of character Upton would play or what the film's plot will consist of, however.

Considering how popular Upton has become, being cast in the Entourage film would be a great move for both her and Ellin. I know I personally wouldn't mind seeing more of her on the big screen.

Entourage creator confirms plans for the film

After years of talks and rumors, it appears that the Entourage film is finally moving forward. Talks came out last week that some of the show's cast (Adrian Grenier, Jesse Ferrara, Kevin Dillon, and Kevin Connolly) were holding out for better financial deals. However, all of that has apparently been taken care of. Show creator and screenwriter Doug Ellin recently tweeted the following in regards to the film:

Contracts are still being negotiated, but the film is set to begin production early next year. What do you think, Entourage fans? Are you excited over the prospect of seeing your friends again, or is it too little, too late?
