All of us at Ruby Hornet are fans of the social media platform and decided to do a weekly series highlighting people whose Instagrams stand above the rest. This week’s featured Instagram comes from @whighfield. I really enjoy this Instagram gallery because you get a bunch of awesome imagery ranging from portraits to shots of the Big Apple. This photographer clearly has a great style, and I definitely enjoy her portraits, but what I think is really awesome are her shots that involve fog. There is something haunting about the images she captures, be it the scenery or someone walking through foggy weather. It's hard for me to explain all of this, so I'll let her photos do the talking below. Make sure head on over to her Instagram for more.

This week’s featured Instagram comes from @ditsen. I'm a really big fan of food photography, and some of my favorite accounts belong to those that are food photographers. I'm not talking about photos of someone's lunch from some fast food chain, but people that have a passion for creating in the kitchen. That's why I'm drawn to this Instagrammer's gallery because you can tell a lot of effort and creativity went into each dish and each photo. When going through her gallery, you'll get a lot of goodies and some other stunning landscape shots from time to time, but the focus here is the food. Be sure to check out some of her photos below, and head on over to her Instagram for more.

This week’s featured Instagram comes from @nativechild. The photos from this Instagram gallery are some of my favorites because of their photo composition and the subject matter. You'll get a good mix of everything from shots of architecture to portraits to landscapes and everything in between. Some of my favorite shots are the ones shot at night because of the look and feel of them and how the photos are edited. This week’s featured Instagram comes from @charleyzheng. If there's one thing I do like, it's landscape photography and seeing incredible shots of mother nature. Maybe that's why I'm drawn to this Instagram gallery because its photo composition and the amazing landscapes shots of the Pacific Northwest. It's a nice change from seeing skyscrapers and the daily stuff of urban living, and the views aren't something you can't get in a big city. Be sure to check out some of her photos here, and head on over to her Instagram for more great visuals.

This week’s featured Instagram comes from @ilitchpeters. This photographer and designer really gives you a look at NY capturing some great images of the city. The compositions of his photos make this gallery pop out but it's the slow shutter photos that are really cool to me. When you go through his gallery it's hard not to want to go out and create your own slow shutter shots. So be sure to check out some of his photos here and head on over to his Instagram for more great shots.
