Music Video Round Up

Alright, so we have a collection of videos to come out over the past couple of days, all collected in one, bandwith-busting post. One of our "Acts to Look Out For", Saba, dropped his long-awaited video for "Secondhand Smoke", which offered glimpses of wintertime Chi alongside Vesely-esque digital effect to create a powerful aesthetic in the lead up to his project, ComfortZone. Iggy Azalea gave fans a Clueless-inspired visual for her track "Fancy" with Charlie XCX. There's lots of fake fur, bubble gums and platform sneakers. Jamal Science hit "Splitsville" with Jasmine Luvano in his latest video while Aloe Blacc gave his track "The Man" a dope visual rendering; he really does look like the man. Which may make it awkward to put it next to current "Man of the Year",  Schoolboy Q who traded his bucket for a Pharrell number in this piece for ALife. Auggie The 9th continued a strong campaign behind his December release GAWS with a new video for the somewhat title track "GWS". Run The Jewels debuted a video for their track..."Run The Jewels" and Hundred Waters did their thing in the new one for "Cavity".  You can watch them streaming all below, or for you real thrill seekers, play them all at once and gobble up that media a la A Clockwork Orange. Enjoy!

[Songs of the Day] 2/6/14 (Feat. Pharrell, Future, Dillon Francis & More)

Songs of the day is back again with the latest singles to hit the Internet. We get some Midwest flavor with Murph Watkins' "Loose Women n' Booze" and Psalm One's teaser to her upcoming album Hug Life, "So Silly" which features trap drum wunderkind Young Josh of Flosstradamus on production. Some heavy hitters dropped collaboration tracks, as well. T.I. teamed up with Iggy Azalea, Young Dro, and Travi$ Scott, while Future teamed up with PharrellPusha T and Casino on their new track "Move That Dope". Mac Miller put on his alternative indie hat for a cover of Bright Eyes' "Lua", which comes off as questionable at best, Lily Allen offers up her latest in "L8 CMMR" and Dillon Francis and DJ Snake come together for the thumping "Get Low".

Track of the Day: Vic Mensa: "Magic" (Smoko Ono Remix) - Chicago producer Smoko Ono puts a creative new spin on Vic Mensa's "Magic" off his recent Innanetape, allowing it a distinctly new, dance-worthy flavor that takes the track into a different realm while staying grounded in the original track.

[Photography] Iggy Azalea Complex Cover Story

Iggy Azalea is still sort of a mystery to many being that she's Australian, tall, blonde, and she doesn't fit the typical mold of what we imagine an MC is suppose to be let alone a trap artist. Born and raised in Mullumbimby Australia Iggy spits like she grew around a trap house in ATL. When speaking off the mic you can hear her accent but when she rhymes she ditches the accent having us forget she wasn't born on US soil. With the help of T.I. Iggy plans on making her mark on Hip Hop and silencing the naysayers. Complex recently had an interview with the MC slash model in which spoke about the trials of pursuing a rap career to her upbringing in Australia and her relationship with ASAP Rocky among other things. Check out the photos of the photo shoot Iggy had with Complex and for the interview head on over to Complex here.
