[Video] Kanye West: "Bound 2" on Jimmy Fallon
Right on the heels of his announcement of a Yeezus tour, Ye' unexpectedly stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform "Bound 2" live for the first time. In his now-signature kilt over leather pants, Kanye, as usual went big with Charlie Wilson singing the hook live and backing from a children's choir, and The Roots. Of course, where there's Kanye, there's usually controversy and the Fallon set was no exception as West changed the opening lines of the song to apparently poke fun at beau Kim Kardashian's ex, Ray-J, rhyming: "Brandy's little sister lame, man, he know it now/When a real brother hold you down you supposed to drown." Interesting. For his part, Fallon has made himself a pop-culture icon from his late night desk by connecting with viewers through music, without The Roots as his house band it's not totally certain he would have made it out of his first season, and this Kanye performance adds to the growing list of great acts to grace the late night stage with electrifying live sets. Kanye West announces Yeezus tour
All it took was one word, "TOUR," and just like that, the internet has erupted with excitement over Kanye West's first solo tour in five years following his co-venture with Jay Z on the Watch the Throne Tour that ended last summer. Supporting Kanye on the Yeezus Tour will be Kendrick Lamar, which should make for a very interesting pairing. Other guests are planned to join the duo throughout their dates, but they will be announced later on.
I was still working at the United Center when Kanye came back home during his Glow in the Dark Tour, and that show ended up being one of the best shows I've ever seen. What he lacked in crowd interaction, he made up for in production quality and showmanship. Say what you will about Kanye and his sometimes ridiculous antics - the man is a naturally-talented entertainer and knows how to get anybody hyped up. With both Yeezus and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy ripe for solo show exploration, the Yeezus Tour might be one of his best tours yet.

Yeezus Remix Album Featuring Miley?
Yes, apparently it's a real thing. As much as it pains me to post the words "Miley" and "Cyrus" and add to the cacophony of airy, garbage-filled commentary on her recent VMA performance, the New York Post reported today that Kanye and Cyrus very well may be working together on a Yeezus remix album, quote below.
"After tormenting the Twitterverse with her twerking routine at the VMAs, Miley Cyrus went right into the studio with Kanye West to record a remix of his song Black Skinhead, Page Six has exclusively learned. Cyrus skipped her own VMA after-party at No. 8 and went into the studio for what her reps described as a late-night, top- secret collaboration, which sources said was with none other than West. The Yeezus rapper was one of the few artists not spotted out at Jay Z and Diddy's bash in New York, which went into the early hours of Monday. West was also said to have headed straight to the studio after the MTV event at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. We hear Cyrus will appear with West on a remix of Black Skinhead, due to be part of a remix EP that will be released later this year. West was due to perform Skinhead at the VMAs, but reportedly changed his mind at the last minute to perform the haunting track Blood on the Leaves, at which time viewers only saw his enlarged shadow rapping against a backdrop of a forest." --New York Post

James Jean and Melody Yoko Reilly have teamed up for HYPETRAK to give us their exclusive version of the Yeezus album artwork. Hypetrak has taken one of Kanye's most memorable lines from the album, "Hurry up with my damn croissants," and have used it as inspiration for their upcoming project. The project has been pretty hush hush, but they have been dropping a sneak peeks of it over the last week or so via their Instagram account. All we know right now is that it includes croissants and a pretty model, so we'll have to wait and see what the final product will look like.

[Video] Kanye West: "Black Skinhead"
Yesterday, the first video from Kanye West's Yeezus, "Black Skinhead," leaked to the masses. Before being taken down, the fine people over at Rap Dose ripped the video for posterity. Somewhat similar in style to the videos projected during the early Yeezus marketing push, the video for "Black Skinhead" is pretty minimalistic in its plain black and white look. What's interesting is the main figure in the video appears to be animated. Nevertheless, the visuals stay true to the album's insistence on keeping the production as stripped down and simple as possible. Enjoy the video for as long as it's up. Hopefully, the fans will dig what Kanye's doing, because I feel like the rest of Yeezus' videos will be similar in style.

Kanye West: "Hold My Liquor" (Million $ Mano Remix)
Treated Crew King and Kanye West's DJ, Million $ Mano, dropped his remix for "Hold My Liquor" - a fan favorite off of Yeezy's latest album, Yeezus. The track, although maintaining Yeezy's sound, adds a little something extra - something extra dope, that is.
